Das ist eine sehr schönes Album! Hab nie begriffen, warum Louis Smith nicht etwas grösser rauskam. Immerhin brachte Blue Note vor ein paar Jahren das Newport-Set der Horace Silver-Band mit Smith raus, die ansonsten nicht dokumentiert war. Die spätere Steeplechase-Alben sind auch ganz schön, so weit ich sie bisher kenne, aber von damals, aus der Hard Bop-Ära, gibt es leider nicht gerade viel von ihm.
