Dexter Gordon mit Sonny Grey und dem Trio von Georges Arvanitas, live an der ENS 1973 in Paris. In meinem Fall eigentlich das Digipack, das wohl erst 2008 und in höchster Eile herausgehauen wurde … das Bild ist ja schon auf dem obigen 2002er-Reissue total verpixelt, auf dem Digipack ist es sogar der Text (auch auf dem Booklet – immerhin sind die Liner Notes innen drin okay). Nicht in Mulhouse gekauft (dort gab es stattdessen das ebenfalls eilig herausgehauene letzte Reissue vom Album, das Chris Woods mit dem Arvanitas Trio gemacht hat, das Booklet nur ein auf dem schlechten heimischen Farbdrucker hergestelltes Faltblatt, das sich wölbt …)

Nach dem leider etwas enttäuschenden Solo-Set von Nicole Mitchell beim Météo Festival letzte Woche musste ich die zwei Alben wieder anhören, die ich von ihr habe. „Mandorla Awakening“ lief noch gestern Abend, heute ist es „Aquarius“ – beide sind sie toll!
