Ja, wirklich toll. Die Musik ist genauso schön wie das Cover. Wirklich sehr gut. Was ist denn das für ein „Dance With Death“ Cover? Meines sieht ganz anders aus.

Das neue von der Connoisseur-CD von 2004. Patrick Roques hat einige sehr gute neue Cover im Stil der alten Blue Note-Cover angefertigt, als Stoff aus der LT-Reihe oder den King-Reissues aus Japan erstmals im grösseren Stil in den USA auf CD erschien. Die anderen zwei sind die hier, das zweite ist auch ganz gut, hat aber mit Blue Note auch wenig zu tun (oben Blue Note Classics/LT, USA 1980, unten King, Japan, 1981):

How does it feel to be one of the beautiful people?Rob Brown am Altsax finde ich sehr gut und Lewis Barnes an der Trompete wird leicht unterschätzt! Ich glaube er hat fast nur mit William Parker gespielt. Gibt es eine Veröffentlichung unter seinem Namen?
