Fühle mich geehrt!
Mit uncool meinst du wahrscheinlich vor allem die Tragic Kingdom, die Helden, The Wall, France Gall und vor allem Eros Ramazzotti, und ich muss sagen, die würde ich nicht um alles auf der Welt verlieren wollen, sie bedeuten mir enorm viel, vor allem auf persönlicher Ebene, aber auch musikalisch: Gerade diese „uncoolen“ Platten haben für mich absolut keine Schwächen, sind von vorne bis hinten hörbar.
Und ja ich weiß, mit der Ansicht bin ich hier nicht elitär, aber insgesamt bin ich mit meinem Geschmack sehr zufrieden…

Genau das macht ja Deine Liste erst interessant.
Nicht nur, daß ich einige der Scheiben habe…sie bedeuten auch mir vieles.
Wie oft hab ich „Clandestino“ im Urlaub auf der Autofahrt hören dürfen…meine Tochter steht da so drauf.

Die „Closer“ hab ich schlicht und einfach vergessen. Würde nicht in meiner Top50 auftauchen, hier aber schon. AATT bringe ich rein gar nicht mit Joy Division in Verbindung, die haben nen sehr eigenen Stil und vier Alben sind bei dem reichlichen Output noch sehr begrenzt. Sind wirklich deren besten und ich schätze sie alle. RLYL kenn ich nicht, mal sehen ob ich mich damit beschäftige. New Model Army find ich auch nicht mehr so toll, allerdings sind das drei wirklich gute Alben von denen.

Die stehen bei mir beide nicht so hoch im Kurs. Wie gesagt, meine NMA-Zeiten sind vorbei, höre eigentlich nur noch die drei erwähnten. „Thunder and consolation“ schon eher, „The ghost of cain“ schon mal gar nicht. Und ganz schlimm find ich die „The love of hopeless causes“. Wenn ein Album, als das beste einer Band gilt, muß man dies ja nicht zwangsläufig auch so empfinden. Was ich natürlich vergessen habe ist die Johnny Cash – „American Recordings“. Wundert mich, dass das noch keiner angemerkt hat.
