Zum Album: Solide, begeistert mich aber nicht mehr. Besitze es auch gar nicht mehr auf CD.

Huch, verschrieben.

Ist allerdings doch ein starker Fall, der mich recht verwundert. Wie kommt’s ?

Ist allerdings doch ein starker Fall, der mich recht verwundert. Wie kommt’s ?

Pink Floyd sind insgesamt bei mir gefallen, mehr als 4 Sterne würde ich momentan für kein Album zücken. Emotional erreichen mich nur noch wenige Tracks. Viele sind zwar durchaus gut, aber begeistern eben nicht. Z.B. das ganze WYWH-Album. Nichts „schlecht“, aber für mich auch nichts „sehr gut“.
Mein Favorit bleibt Meddle.

125 unter Nichteinbeziehung von Live-Alben und Compilations/Box-Sets.

Mmh…nicht sehr viel.
Meine nächste Liste kommt frühestens, wenn ich 200 LPs habe.

Mein Favorit bleibt Meddle.

Nun, das ist in der Tat recht streng gehalten. Auch wenn sich Pink Floyd bei mir über die vielen Jahre etwas „abgenützt“ haben, bleiben doch ein paar ganz großartige Werke übrig. Ein grader Fünfer ist mittlerweile nicht mehr dabei, aber doch 6 mit **** 1/2. Not so bad.

Zappa1Da habe ich auch eine andere Herangehensweise. Für mich kann ein Album, das ich insgesamt mit *** bewerte durchaus einen höheren Stellenwert genießen, als ein Album mit *****. Bei meiner Liste habe ich nicht nach Sternen gereiht, sondern nach der „Verbundenheit“ zu einem Album.

Versteht zwar fast keiner, aber ist bei mir halt so. Habe deswegen ja auch Schimpfe vom dr.music bekommen…:-)

Onkel TomDann will ich auch mal meinen Senf dazu geben. Natürlich kannst du eine Top100 posten. Spannend wird halt sein, welche Alben sich halten, wenn du deinen Bestand einmal vervielfacht hast. Schon mal schönen Dank, dass du Don McLean gelistet hast. Der läuft nämlich nur aus diesem Grund gerade und ich bin (erneut) ziemlich begeistert. :sonne:

Ansonsten besitze ich lediglich 24 Alben aus deiner Liste nicht. 21 tauchen in meiner derzeitigen Top100 auf und einige andere auf den danach folgenden Plätzen.
Deine derzeitige Nummer 1 kenne ich noch gar nicht.

Ja klar. Ich werde nicht aufhören mir Musik zu kaufen, und daher wird es noch Updates geben.
Don Mclean. Das freut mich natürlich, dass der immer wieder neu entdeckt wird. Weiß gar nicht, wieso der immer vergessen wird.

chocolate milkFletchers Liste schaut aus wie die eines alten Mannes, „jede Menge anerkannte Rock-Kanon-Alben“ hin oder her. Er ist jung, es gibt unglaublich viel gute, frische Musik, die er unbedingt mal stärker ins Auge fassen sollte.

Das trifft genau den Kern.
Wenn ich das mit meiner (fiktiven) Liste im entsprechenden Alter vergleichen würde, wären mindestens die Hälfte aller Platten aus den zwei bis drei Jahren vorher mit in der Liste gewesen. Man hätte die Liste auch mehr als 20 Jahre später noch ohne Probleme sofort zeitlich zuordnen können.

Ziemlich konservative Liste, mir zu US-lastig. Paul Simon habe ich in der letzten Zeit ein wenig für mich entdeckt, klammere Graceland aber strikt aus. Bei den Go Betweens empfehle ich dir doch sehr, auch den älteren Platten die gebotene Aufmerksamkeit zu schenken. Mit Udo Jürg… sorry, Elton John kannst Du mich jagen.
