Natürlich. „Heart Like a Wheel“ ist die mit Abstand beste (****1/2) und unverzichtbar. Für absolute Neueinsteiger ist m.E. der Sampler „The Very Best of“ mit 21 Tracks sehr empfehlenswert.

gollumZu „anders“? Zu Daniel Lanois dominant?

Ich mag eigentlich Lanois sowohl als Musiker wie Produzenten und die Stimme von Emmylou gefällt mir auch, aber „Wrecking Ball“ hat bei mir nicht gezündet. Ich gab der Platte damals viele Anläufe war schließlich hochgelobt, na ja die nächsten Tage gebe ich ihr nochmal eine Chance.
