Zunächst kann man daraus schlussfolgern, dass ich mich mit dem Album verstärkt beschäftigt habe. Das wiederum war erforderlich, um für mich schlüssig zu bekommen, wie ich es bewerte, denn die ersten Eindrücke waren recht vielfältig und auch disparat. Nach dem ersten Durchlauf war ich maßlos enttäuscht, der zweite Durchgang ließ dann schon aufhorchen. Und Mando Diao ist eine Band, die mich schon mit mehreren Alben durchaus angesprochen hat. „Hurricane bar“ und „Ode to Ochrasy“ bleiben meine Favoriten. Das neue Album ist jedoch nach dem sehr mauen Vorgänger ein Schritt in eine gute Richtung.
