15x MT ist nicht so viel, ich hab sie ja allein an dem Einkaufstag bestimmt 5x gehört…das ging ruck zuck…(ich hab ja auch frei)

Die Kinks Alben sind alle toll, ich könnte nicht mal einen Favoriten ausmachen, das bringt die Zeit…

Papa Richard veredelt einige Songs mit seiner genialen Gitarre. Die anderen Credits-Nehmer (Geschwister Wainwright, Garth Hudson) fallen eher wenig ins Gewicht. Was das Songwriting angeht, sehe ich schon noch ein Gefälle. Da steht zum Beispiel ein kerniger (von mir aus auch eingängiger) Song wie „I should get up“ direkt neben recht Belanglosem wie „Everybody move it“. Teddy hat seinem Vater, wenn man denn vergleichen will, im übrigen eine angenehmere, leicht nasale Stimme voraus. Eine klare Steigerung zu seinem Debutalbum. In der RS-Kritik wurde James Taylor zum Vergleich herangezogen. Ich setze dem mal Jackson Browne entgegen. ***1/2

Danke, sehe ich ähnlich, war anfangs relativ begeistert, die Stimme empfand ich auch als sehr angenehm und ein paar sehr gute Songs, allen voran der Titelsong sind auch dabei
