Bob Dylans Tribute für den Black Panther und Soledad Brother George Jackson, der im August 1971 im Gefängnis San Quentin bei einem Fluchtversuch erschossen wurde. Bob Dylan veröffentlichte den Song als Single im November 1971 (mit einer Big Band Version auf der A-Seite und einer Acoustic Version auf der B-Seite).
Der Soulsänger J.P. Robinson aus Miami veröffentlichte sein Cover 1972 auf ATCO. Mir gefällt, wie J.P. Robinson aus dem Dylan-Song eine Deep Soul-Hymne macht.--

Naja, vielleicht ist das Gitarren-Outro doch ein wenig zu lang für Dich geraten. Das kann ich sogar nachvollziehen Das hätte ich bedenken sollen. Aber dieses Alison-Cover trägt im Gegenzug ebenso wenig zu meiner Konsensbereitschaft bei.
