„Little“ Jimmy Scott – They Say It’s Wonderful
Ein ganz grosses Album mit einer sehr unglücklichen Geschichte (1962 für Ray Charles‘ Tangerine Label aufgenommen, hat der Gauner von Savoy Records, bei dem Scott mit einem Knebelvertrag gebunden war, die Veröffentlichung verhindert) … und einem sehr unglücklichen Cover (Scott war kleinwüchsig, darum das „Little“, und seine Stimme so hoch, dass er oft für eine Frau gehalten wurde … das ist dieses Cover ein Fausthieb in die Fresse, um es diplomatisch zu sagen).
