Eric Clapton – Walkin‘ Blues ein.Ich bitte um Ergänzung, damit ich ein ultimatives Urteil fällen kann ;)
Nu ja, wäre doch ziemlich abgeschmackt, wenn es zahlreiche Songs gebe, die mit „Woke up this morning“ beginnen. Als wenn das nicht jeder täte..:-))
Aber okay, da fällt mir tatsächlich so ein Song ein, der so beginnt: „When I woke up this morning – you were on my mind“ und beim Refrain „Oh I’ve got troubles..“; Ist jetzt aber mehr ein Pop-Oldie, weiss jetzt gar nicht von wem..
Und ferner noch „I say a little prayer“ von Dionne Warwick glaub ich, so:
„Every time that I wake up“ – hoppla schon wieder kein Blues-Song--

Ja, aber es passt auch einfach zum Blues. Wie oft ist man nicht schon morgens aufgewacht, immernoch alles genauso scheiße wie am Tag davor, oder wahrscheinlich eher noch schlimmer, und man möchte einfach für die nächsten 2 Wochen liegen bleiben.

Da fehlt noch „woke up this morning with a wine-glass in my hand“ aus „Do You Feel like We Do“ – Frampton Comes Alive.
Und passt zwar nicht ganz „Did you ever wake up with that bullfrog on your mind“ aus „Bullfrog Blues“ von Canned Heat oder Rory Gallagher oder Trad.
