Am 15. Dezember schrieb Enemies List auf seiner Facebook-Seite:

„Just got word on DC vinyl. We are literally days away. Possible problem with print on labels. Waiting on sample to give the OK or not.“

    Dürfte also bald soweit sein.

Wobei ich nicht weiß, wie aktuell der noch immer letzte Eintrag (vom 1.11.) auf der Homepage ist:

    Hi everyone,

Just a quick note to say that ELHR orders are temporarily delayed. Connecticut got hit by a pretty brutal winter storm that froze power lines, toppled trees seemingly everywhere, and generally created havoc.

We currently have no power, heat, or running water. That means I can’t ship orders or check email (except for right now, since I’m at a college campus that somehow has power).

We’re still taking orders, and everyone’s stuff will go out as soon as humanly possible.

    Sorry for the delay, everyone.

    Neues auf musiconvinyl:

    HOWLING BELLS – THE LOUDEST ENGINE (1LP) – MOVLP459
After supporting Coldplay and The Killers on their tours, Howling Bells recorded their third studio album and released it in September 2011. ‚The Loudest Engine‘ is a modern psychedelic record with folk and rock influences and they can be compared to bands like Mazzy Star and The Velvet Underground. This release includes one bonus track and a full colour insert.

    JOHN MARTYN – HEAVEN AND EARTH (1LP) – MOVLP405
John Martyn, the legendary singer-songwriter, arranger and guitarist recorded twenty studio albums during his career. ‚Heaven And Earth‘ is the last album Martyn was working on before his death in 2009, and was completed by Gary Pollitt & Jim Tullio. Featuring Phil Collins on „Can’t Turn Back The Years“, this is the first vinyl edition of this phenomenal album.

ALAN PARSONS PROJECT – EYE IN THE SKY (1LP) – MOVLP188
The Project was active between 1975 and 1990 and consisted of Eric Woolfson and Alan Parsons surrounded by a varying number of session musicians. ‚Eye In The Sky‘ was originally released in 1982 and earned the platinum status. Similar to the first pressing of this album, the green cover is gold-foil stamped with an image of the Eye of Horus.

    THE BYRDS – YOUNGER THAN YESTERDAY (1LP) – MOVLP437
The Byrds‘ fourth album was originally released in 1967 and it features elements of psychedelic rock and country and western influences. Rolling Stone magazine ranked the album at #124 on their 2003 list of The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.

    JOHN CALE – VINTAGE VIOLENCE (1LP) – MOVLP431
John Cale’s first post-Velvet Underground album was originally released in 1970 and it is a piece of mature pop with a smooth finish. The Welsh rocker shows a pop craftsman at work on ten tracks that reference everything from Country Rock to Beach Boys harmonies to The Band-style Americana and beyond.

    LEONARD COHEN – I’M YOUR MAN (1LP) – MOVLP424
After a less successful period in the ’80s Leonard Cohen drastically changed his sound. At ‚I’m Your Man‘ synthesizers rule and a dark humour had been added to his baritone. With enormous critical and commercial success, ‚I’m Your Man‘ is ranked amongst Cohen’s best albums. Now available on vinyl again for the first time since 1988!

    DUKE ELLINGTON – BLUES IN ORBIT (1LP) – MOVLP443
Duke Ellington is seen by many as one of the frontrunners of Jazz and as one of the greatest composers of the 20th century. ‚Blues In Orbit‘ presents a Big Band in full swing. Free flowing improvisations and straightforward arrangements show the band is kicking back, relaxing, and doing it nice ’n‘ easy.

    T.REX – THE T.REX WAX CO. SINGLES A’s And B’s 1972 – 1977 (3LP) – MOVLP418
In 1972 EMI signed the remarkable Marc Bolan and created the T. Rex Wax Co. label for him, for which he would release six albums in as many years, until his fatal car crash in 1977. This compilation is a collection of all the singles he cut for the label, and Music On Vinyl is the first to release it on vinyl. Including an insert with liner notes by Mark Paytress.

Wurde schon darauf hingewiesen, dass sowohl Spirit of Eden wie auch The Colour of Spring von TALK TALK Ende März auf Vinyl wiederveröffentlicht werden? Kommt wohl mit Bonus DVD.

„Talk Talk’s classic albums ‘Spirit of Eden’ and ‘The Colour of Spring’ get re-issued on 180g heavyweight vinyl cut from the original analogue master, together with a DVD featuring the album delivered as a 96kHz/24 bit LPCM stereo mix. The DVDs both feature one extra track … ‘Spirit of Eden’ has the ‘b’ side ‘John Cope’ while ‘The Colour of Spring’ includes the ‘b’ side ‘It’s Getting Late In The Evening’.“

    Neues von www.musiconvinyl.com

ANOTHER GREAT WAVE OF FEBRUARY RELEASES We have picked these awesome titles for another batch of this month. Available from the 20th of February.

    THE RED DEVILS – KING KING (2LP) – MOVLP509
Their only full length album, ‚King King‘ is seen as a true Blues classic and Music On Vinyl is honoured to release this album on vinyl for the very first time. To celebrate its 20th anniversary, we decided to do something special: the first 1,000 copies of this double gatefold sleeve album are on bright red vinyl! Also, this release includes an insert.

    TRICKY – MAXINQUAYE (1LP) – MOVLP507
After being a member of the Massive Attack collective, Tricky released his solo debut 1995. ‚Maxinquaye‘ is one of those albums that brought ‚triphop‘ to the forefront, entering the UK charts at #2 on its release despite a shocking lack of airplay, and ending up topping many, many year-end lists. Music On Vinyl releases this album in a gatefold sleeve and including an insert.

    STATUS QUO – HELLO! (1LP) – MOVLP229
1973’s ‚Hello!‘ was their first album to top the UK charts, the first to feature the band’s iconic logo and the first on which they wrote all the songs themselves. Now released on vinyl for the first time since 1973, with the original B-side of their hit „Caroline“, „Joanne“ as an added bonus track! The 3mm jacket has spot UV with silver lettering and includes an insert with lyrics.

JOHN MAYER – WHERE THE LIGHT IS (4LP) – MOVLP444
This album captures the multi-Grammy Award-winning, Platinum-selling singer/songwriter John Mayer in the element where fans love him the most: live on stage! This special concert includes 3 different sets (22 songs): an acoustic performance, a rare set with John Mayer Trio (with Steve Jordan and Pino Palladino), as well as a set featuring Mayer’s full band. To add to the excitement, this release comes in a 15mm sleeve with printed innersleeves.

    JILL SCOTT – BEAUTIFULLY HUMAN: WORDS & SOUNDS VOL. 2 (2LP) – MOVLP407
Four years after ‚Who Is Jill Scott? Words And Sounds Vol. 1‘ (MOVLP406), she released the follow-up. It was worth the wait: the album immediately went to the top of the R&B/Hip Hop album charts, while „Cross My Mind“ won her her first Grammy in 2005. The album floats between R&B, Hip Hop, Soul & Funk, and provides some of the best BoomBap moments of the decade. This release includes an insert.

    RON SEXSMITH – BLUE BOY (1LP) – MOVLP488
His 4th album, produced by Steve Earle- offers 14 pieces of evidence that this man ranks among the most gifted singer/songwriters working today. After his latest album ‚Long Player Late Bloomer‘ (MOVLP262) we thought this release would make a nice addition to our catalogue. The album comes in a gatefold sleeve.

    DONOVAN – THE HURDY GURDY MAN (1LP) – MOVLP440
Donovan’s songwriting for ‚The Hurdy Gurdy Man‘ centered around eerie, trance-like „drones“ on songs as „Peregrine“, „The River Song“ and „Tangier“ and pop music on most of the other tracks. The songs feature inventive accompaniment, combined with Donovan’s usual spot-on delivery!

Auf die Tricky-LP freue ich mich sehr! :sonne:
