Zufrieden schon, aber die fetten Jahre sind für mich seit ca. 2012 (in der Breite) bei neuen 45s vorbei. Dennoch gibt es auch diesem Jahr einige entdeckungswürdige Singles, allen voran meine #1. Die restliche Bewertung habe ich ergänzt.
„I Do Not Feel Like Being Good“ und „Burn In The Night“ rangieren aktuell auf 22 und 23. „Willow Lane“ und „Blue Light“ versprühen da mehr Charme, liegen aber im Vergleich zu früheren Großtaten weit hinten.

Dann würde ich natürlich gerne, wie es hier auch üblich ist, die ganze Liste sehen.
Was Ryans 45s betrifft, sehe ich es aber tendenziell genauso wie Du: die ganz großen Entzückungen wollen sich einfach nicht einstellen. Dennoch: Das Akkordeon auf „Willow Lane“ ist sehr schön.

RexRegisSleeve, Sound und Güte des Tracks ähnlich zu „Ladybird“. Beide Singles haben mich eben beim Gegenhören sehr begeistert, „No Mind No Money“ noch ein kleines bisschen mehr als „Ladybird“.
„No Mind No Money“ ist packender, weil die Dramaturgie noch effektiver ist. Und weil die Band gleich zu Anfang mit einem memorablen Lick einsteigt, wo auf „Ladybird“ erstmal nur hübscher Leerlauf regierte. Wenn Beach Baby das Niveau von „No Mind No Money“ halten, könnten sie einen so herrlichen Überraschungscoup landen wie Girls anno 2009 mit „Album“.
