Nach seiner Zeit als Gitarrist bei Peter Wolf hat sich Johnny A. selbständig gemacht und seit 1998 drei Alben mit instrumentalem Gitarren-Rock herausgebracht. Bekannter ist aber vielleicht sein „signature model“ von Gibson Guitars.
