Das ist der Track, bei dem mir Willie Dixons Vocals am besten gefallen. Und Al Ashby am Saxophon trägt wunderbar zur spooky Atmosphäre des Tracks bei.--

06. Willie Dixon – Sittin’ and cryin’ the Blues Album: Willie’s Blues
Bisher kenne und habe ich nicht allzu viele Blues-Sachen und freue mich, hier ein wenig Nachhilfeunterricht zu bekommen. Der Lightnin‘ Hopkins Track gefällt mir sehr. Willie’s Blues steht in meiner kleinen bescheidenen Blues-Sammlung. Starkes Album.
Hier noch nicht, das muss sich ändern….

Wie schön, und Harold Ashby am Sax? Oder gibt es wirklich auch noch einen Al Ashby?Hatte ich mir noch nie überlegt.
Gerade die Platte aus dem Schrank gezogen: auf dem Cover steht Al Ashby. Meinst Du wirklich, daß das Harold Ashby war? Hatte er eine Verbindung zu Prestige Records, auf dem „Willie’s Blues“ erschienen ist?--
