Ich sag jetzt nichts von „jede ernstzunehmende Sammlung“ … aber im Ernst, seit 30 oder mehr Jahren ein toller Jazzpianist, der in den letzten Jahren besser und besser wird (und obendrein eine ziemlich einmalige Figur im Jazz: der erste mit offenem Coming Out in dieser leider immer noch Machowelt, zudem seit Jahrzehnten HIV-positiv).
Die „Live in Europe“ ist wirklich gut. Kann ich ebenfalls nur empfehlen. Das ist Jazz-Trio auf wirklich feinem Niveau.
