Und there we go again … das war eben das MD-Album, bei dem es mir sofort den Ärmel reinzog. Zu Weihnachten und zum Geburtstag hatte ich jeweils ca. ein halbes Dutzend Wünsche offen, in der Regel gerade so, dass eine CD (25 Franken, ca. 30 DM damals) drinlag … und bald ein paar Bücher da, wo ich mir die Sachen heraussuchte – und die Hälfte von ihnen dann jeweils erst einen Monat zu spät kriegte, weil der Vertrieb von Musik in der Schweiz immer eine gigantische Katastrophe war (bzw., wie ich erst viel später von einem alten Hasen/Insider wusste, die Läden damals billig im Ausland orderten, um ihre eh schon total überrissenen Margen noch fetter zu gestalten, dafür konnte man dann auf eine Blue Note-CD schon mal 3 Monate warten – und die konnte dann auch gerne 33 oder 35 kosten, wenn’s keine „Nice Price“-Scheibe war … aber klar, der Kapitalismus machte auch vor meinem bescheidenen Taschengeld nicht halt …)
