pipe-bowlNochmal zu „Broken arrow“: ich habe mir soeben noch mal beide Versionen von „Buffalo Springfield Again“ und von „Decade“ angehört. Sie sind identisch. Was ich bisher noch nicht wusste, ist der Umstand, dass der Applaus am Anfang des Stücks von einem „Beatles“-Konzert stammt. Auf jeden Fall ein sehr komplexes Stück mit seinen drei Teilen. Neil Young schrieb dazu: „I wrote this after quitting the group in 1967 due to one of many identity crisis, but joined up again soon enough to put this one through. Took over 100 takes to get it. Had a lot of help from our engineer Jim Messina.“
