demonWenn man bedenkt, dass zwischen dieser Aufnahme und der vorher weniger als ein Jahr lag…
Miles Davis gab ihm halt wirklich den nötigen Tritt in den Hintern. Und mit seiner Entlassung im Herbst 1956 löste er wohl auch noch aus, dass Coltrane (wie Miles selbst ein paar Jahre früher) auf die harte Weise von den harten Drogen loskam … und sich danach rasant weiterentwickelte. Das hören wir dann übrigens nächsten Samstag in der zweistündigen nächste Folge von gypsy goes jazz
