Absolut. „Rhino skin“ ist ein Petty-Track, der bei Best of-Listen sträflich vernachlässigt wird. Absolut ergreifend. „Echo“ ist ja ein Album, wo er privat einige Tiefschläge zu verdauen hatte und diese mit dem Album auch ein Stück weit verarbeitet.

Anlässlich der Umfrage im Forum hatte Zettl mir dieses Album empfohlen; ich kannte es bis dahin nicht. Beim ersten Hören bin ich damit aber nicht warm geworden. Ich sollte ihm eine zweite Chance geben.--

Es ist müßig, sich über eigene Geschmäcker zu streiten.
Letztendlich ist es immer der eigene Geschmack, oder nicht?

Going down in KackbratzentownEin ganzes Album auf dem Niveau von „Night by night“ wäre auch ein absoluter Klassiker. Aber „Pretzel logic“ ist schon ein feines Album. Und auch nicht das einzige feine Album von Steely Dan.
