12. Butcher Boy – Helping HandsGar nicht mitbekommen, dass es ein neues Album gibt. Gefällt mir spontan ausgesprochen gut. Täuscht’s oder hat das Songwriting tatsächlich mehr Substanz als das des letzten? React or Die gefiel mir nämlich auch, wirkte aber ein bisschen austauschbarer als Helping Hands, so fürs Erste. Gute Alternative für Belle & Sebastian – wenn man die eigentlich sehr gerne mögen möchte, aber sie doch nur gelegentlich auflegt, und sie einen doch nicht so richtig erreichen.

Die SOngs sind direkter als auf den beiden (nicht schlechten) Vorgängern und in jedem Falle besser als alles auf den letzten Belle-Alben. Imperial und I am the Butcher sind in meinem Kosmos veritable Hits.
