Die Alben bis 8. sind wirklich ganz ausgezeichnet und – aus meiner Sicht – durchgehend empfehlenswert. Ich würde sogar sagen, dass jedes einzelne lieber höre als alle meine Faves aus 2010.

castles in the airDas Album hört sich ja tatsächlich so an, als hätten die frühen Cardigans ein luftiges Folkalbum in Texas aufgenommen.

Ich würde eher den Vergleich zur „Long Gone Before Daylight“-Phase ziehen, eine stimmliche Nähe zu Nina Persson gibt es auf jeden Fall. Es sind vor allem auch durchgängig großartige Songs. Dieses Album dürfte vielen hier gefallen. Nur das Cover finde ich nicht so gelungen …

castles in the airDiese Nennung wundert mich natürlich gar nicht. Das Album hört sich ja tatsächlich so an, als hätten die frühen Cardigans ein luftiges Folkalbum in Texas aufgenommen.

Auch sonst eine sehr schöne Liste.

Wow das freut mich, dann hat sich mein „anspitzen“ bei Tristen ja gelohnt. Wird bei mir auch weit oben einsteigen (an dieser Stelle noch mal ein Dank an Castles). The Pierces hab ich noch nicht gehört, aber auch Barbara Panther hat einen super ersten Eindruck bei mir hinterlassen. Da war ich doch etwas überrascht.
