castles in the airWarum denn nicht? Du mochtest die ersten beiden Alben, und auf „Things Are What They Used To Be“ haben Zoot Woman ihren stilsicheren Elektropop noch einmal perfektioniert. Wenn du als Sympathisant der ersten Stunde ausgerechnet jetzt abspringen würdest, wäre das sehr schade.
Naja, hätte doch sein können dass sie mit diesem Album eine Richtung eingeschlagen haben die mir nicht liegt, wie in diesem Jahr auch schon Morrissey und Placebo, um mal die extremsten zu nennen. Okay, dann werde ich mir „Things Are What They Used To Be“ mal zulegen.

Gute Entscheidung, das Album ist wirklich sehr gelungen.

Die Artic Monkeys waren nie meine Band und was ich vom aktuellen Album kenne, missfiel mir umso mehr. Es mag sein, dass ein Stern zu hart erscheint.
Interessanter fänd ich allerdings, was ihr von den anderen Alben mit besserer Wertung haltet. Das beispielsweise Jonsi And Alex als etwas langweilig empfunden wurden, entzieht sich meinem Höreindruck.--

MuetiDarf ich daraus schließen, dass dir das Brass Ensemble nicht so sehr zusagt?
Das darfst Du. Ich stelle mir das Hypnotic Brass Ensemble live als Erlebnis vor, konserviert ist mir das aber irgendwie zu gleichförmig. Gleiches gilt übrigens auch für das Andromeda Mega Express Orchestra, da will keine rechte Begeisterung beim Auflegen der Platte aufkommen.
