Nein, keineswegs!

Das Debutalbum ist bedeutend besser! Für mich ganz sicher unter den Top 50-Alben des laufenden Jahrzehnts.

Allerdings muß man Album No. 2 nicht abwatschen. Abgewatscht, nur weil mehr Synthesizer eingesetzt wurden? Würde mich mal wieder nicht wundern…

habe nicht aufgepaßt, wie dein vorheriges ranking aussah, aber heute fällt mir auf, dass scary mansion wunderbar hoch plaziert sind, dagegen thao und my morning jacket viel zu schlecht wegkommen. thao und konsorten haben doch bienenfleißig melodien zusammengesucht und spielen diese auf angenehmste weise, ohne fehl und tadel (hierin könnte einzig ein makel zu finden sein, der aber nicht für die kategorie ’schlechter‘ taugt). my morning jacket finde ich aufregend, etwas verwirrend ohne zweifel und befinde mich eher noch beim einhören, aber schlechter als *** – ***1/2 sehe ich sie auch nicht. kannst du bitte mal ein paar worte der begründung anschließen?
