Lately I've been seeing things / They look like they float at the back of my head room[/B] [/SIZE][/FONT]Aber natürlich! Nehmen wir beispielsweise Thema/Texte eines Albums! Ein Album bedeutet mir persönlich sehr viel mehr, wenn ich Texte nachvollziehen bzw. mich damit identifizieren kann. Objektiv gesehen werden die Texte ja dadurch nicht schlechter, nur lassen sie mich auf eine ganz andere Weise den Song verstehen. Das versuche ich zu unterscheiden, die Alben mit dem einen Auge als Musikliebhaber zu sehen und mit dem anderen Auge als Kritiker.
Als Forumsmitglied und Musikliebhaber ist es für mich sehr wohl sinnvoll und angebracht, als Kritiker und Autor so zu differenzieren…darüber kann man streiten!

Geht man mit objektiven Maßstäben an Musik heran, ist das für mich Wissenschaft. Kritik hingegen kann nur subjektiv sein. Sie muss es auch sein, denn ihre eigentliche Leistung sollte darin bestehen, das eigene Empfinden beim Hören von Musik in allgemein verständliche Worte zu fassen. Bei einem Musikliebhaber und -kenner (und ein solcher sollte der Kritiker schon sein) fließt dabei natürlich die eigene Kenntnis um Herkunft, Umfeld, Anspielungen, Zitate, Bezüge und so weiter ein – aber eben immer gefiltert durch die eigene subjektive Wahrnehmung.
Aber gab es eine solche Diskussion nicht schon mal im Philosophicum?
