Das Leben macht sich ja mehr und mehr aus dem Staub.Der Sound, der um Memphis herum entstand, ist schon charakteristisch. Stax, FAME, America, …

Man muß sich auch mal vor Augen halten, daß Memphis/Florence/Muscle Shoals nur ein paar Meilen auseinanderliegen.
Die Migration, die später von/nach Nashville (ca 500km) stattfand, hat die Verschmelzung mit vielem, was wir heute kennen, voran getrieben.--
