01. Illumenium Shot Locker A: Gehenna
Yeah, so gemäßigt kann sogar ich Grunge hören. Die Band ist ein großes Geheimnis. Ob die Überhaupt wirklich als (feste) Formation existiert? Nur über den Vorgänger Defrage ist bisschen was bekannt. Von denen haben sie auch Songs übernommen. Und seit Jahren nur „Direktmarketing“
Sicher ein besonderes Marketing-Konzept. Vielen Musikern bleibt zurzeit nichts anderes übrig. Von irgendwas müssen Musiker schließlich leben, wenn sie nicht spielen dürfen. Einige meiner Musikerfreunde, die das hauptberuflich machen, räumen gerade im Supermarkt Regale ein, um die Miete zahlen zu können. Vielleicht sollte ich denen raten, sich besser vor den Supermarkt zu stellen und es genauso zu machen wie Illumenium.
Klar, ich weiß mittlerweile das die Illumenium Typen das schon länger durchziehen. Allerdings war zumindest einer der Musiker – der mit den Dreadlocks vor Ort. Die Dame, die mir die Scheibe verkauft hat, war offensichtlich seine FreundinDie waren hier vor 3 bis 4 Jahren auch im Norden unterwegs. Die Geschichten waren nie dieselben, aber immer gleich: Geld für Tourbus Reparatur, Geld für Hotels, Geld für neue Instrumente. Die anfängliche Freundlichkeit stieß schnell an seine Grenzen, wenn man nichts kaufen wollte. Auf meinen Hinweis, ich würde gerne mal zu einem ihrer Gigs kommen und dann bei Gefallen auch eine CD kaufen, erntete ich Unverschämtheiten und Aggression. Plötzlich sprachen sie auch auffällig gutes Deutsch. Ich habe während ihrer „Verkaufstour“ auch nie auch nur einen Hinweis auf einen Auftritt dieser Leute finden können. Einige der herumreisenden Truppe sind wohl auch Musiker, aber die Mädchen waren angeheuerte Promo-Girls, die ihren weiblichen Charme einsetzen sollten. Ob das aktuell noch so ist weiß ich nicht, bei uns sind sie schon länger nicht mehr aufgetaucht.
