Meine nächste Sendung bei Radio StoneFM am Donnerstag den 18.09.2025 um 22:00: On the Decks Vol. 45: Yacht Rock #02Unterschiedlicher könnte der Hintergrund zweier Alben nicht sein und dennoch passen sie hier gut hintereinander, wie ich finde, auch wenn der Zufall sie hier mehr oder weniger zusammengeführt hat. Während Simon Joyner Trauerarbeit nach dem Tod seines Sohnes leistet, feiert Laura Marling die Geburt ihrer Tochter. Beide Alben auf ihre Art ergreifend.

Das Debut war klasse, während mich der Nachfolger bei weitem nicht so gepackt hat. Das dritte (?) Album „Small Changes“ hat mich etwas ratlos zurück gelassen, aber ich werde ihm nochmal eine Chance geben.
