Dachte ich mir. Hör dir mal z.B. das Album „Sweet Fanny Adams“ (1974) an. Das ist Hardrock vom Allerfeinsten.

wolfgangDavid Essex hat einige sehr schöne Songs gemacht, aber in die Glam Schublade ist er wohl aus Versehen reingerutscht.
Es gab ja nie eine konsequente Abgrenzung. Wie auch?
Schon klar, er hatte auch nur zwei Hits, eben Rock On 1973 und Gonna Make You A Star 1975.
Für Deutschland passt das. Im UK hatte er mit „Lamplight“ und „Stardust“ noch weitere Top 10-Hits.
Für die Schublade „Glam Rock“ war er wahrschienlich nur zur passenden Zeit am Start. Wie z.B. auch Steve Harley.
