Ich plane deine Jazz-Sendung ab jetzt fest in meinen Kalender ein, gypsy.
Das freut mich! Seitdem ich von Donnerstag auf Dienstag gewechselt hab klappt es recht gut mit der Regelmässigkeit, davor musste ich am Ende jede zweite verschieben, weil ich donnerstags so oft an Konzerten bin … also: (fast) immer der zweite Dienstag im Monat um 22 Uhr

Mary Lou Williams habe ich mal vor ein paar Jahren über ein Deutschlandfunk-Special kennengelernt. Gefällt mir sehr gut!Ich mag das Bass-Riff hier einfach total … irgendwie kann da überhaupt nichts schief gehen. Von Williams höre ich seit 25 Jahren immer wieder neue Sachen und hab doch immer noch das Gefühl, dass ich das mal richtig vertiefen müsste. Immerhin liegt die Biographie bereit – wurde aber erst punktuell zu konkreten Themen abgesucht.
Eine Pionierin in vieler Hinsicht, und eine grossartige Musikerin!
