"Kunst ist schön, macht aber viel Arbeit" (K. Valentin)Der Mel Lewis hier ist natürlich der vom Jones/Lewis Orchestra – in dem auch Bob Brookmeyer wieder eine entscheidende Rolle als Solist wie als Arrangeur einnehmen sollte, ganz wie in der Mulligan Concert Jazz Band.
