Den Song habe ich auf Sophia Georges ziemlich umfassender Best-Of CD zum ersten Mal gehört. Als Kind liebte ich ihren Hit „Girlie Girlie“, wußte aber nicht, von wem der ist. Das fand ich erst viel, viel später heraus.

Auf dieses Album wurde ich durch die Gastauftritte von Nick Lowe, Bobby Irwin und ihrer gemeinsamen Band aufmerksam.
Als Tanita Tikaram in den späten 80ern ihren Riesenhit hatte, da hätte ich nie gedacht, daß ich mir irgendwann mal ein Album von ihr anschaffen würde.
