Das letzte Werk „Tooth of Crime“ aus 2008 finde ich doch eher ungewöhnlich für ihn.
Den von Oliver gespielten Song „Kill Zone“ hat er gemeinsam mit Bob Neuwirth und Roy Orbison geschrieben.Er hat ja ewig keine neuen Platten mehr veröffentlicht. Die „Tooth of Crime“ ist erst die zweite seit seinem „Comeback“. Die letzte davor war die „The Criminal under My Own Hat“ (grandios!) aus 1992, da war er erheblich rockiger und rootsiger.
