Leider ist auf der aktuellen Flatlanders-Scheibe keine singende Säge mehr dabei. Stattdessen dann die Steel Guitar von Produzent Lloyd Maines.
Das Songmaterial besteht zu einem großen Teil aus Covers, die die 3 wohl seit Jahren schon immer wieder auf Konzerten spielen, und ein paar Songs, die sie auch solo schon aufgenommen haben. Ein paar mir unbekannte Originale sind auch dabei.

Habe mir kürzlich endlich mal das Debut von Dave Stewart and The Spiritual Cowboys auf CD zugelegt. Tolles Album!
Bei mir stehen „Honest“ und „Sly-Fi“ höher im Kurs.
Kennst Du auch „Greetings from the Gutter“?
Ich weiß, daß es die Platte gibt. Habe sie damals auch probegehört. Hat aber nicht ganz gereicht. Das Taschengeld meine ich
Greetings From The Gutter ist das einzige Album, das ich bisher von Dave Stewart habe.
