My Brave Face kenne ich nur von Demos* mit Paul McCartney zusammen (wobei ich Costello den Song niemals alleine habe singen hören);
"Almost Ideal Eyes", "It's Time" und "My Dark Life" sind auf der Expanded Version von "All This Useless Beauty". "My Mood Swings" ist glaube ich auf dem Big Lebowski Soundtrack.
"Upon A Veil Of Midnight Blue" kenne ich auch nicht, eventuell auf einem Bootleg? Jimmyjazz?

"Upon A Veil Of Midnight Blue" wurde meines Wissens nach bisher nur
in der Interpretation von Mary Coughlan auf dem göttlichen Rhinosampler "Bespoke Songs, Lost Dogs, Detours And Rendezvous" veröffentlicht.
Elvis selbst hat den Song sporadisch live performt, mal mit Bill Frisell (zu sehen auf dem A Case For Song Video), mal mit dem Brodsky Quartett.
Großartiger Song.

hab' die letzten Tage einiges von Costello aufgelegt, um mich nochmals zu vergewissern, welche Songs mir am Herzen liegen. und dann pack ich sowas gerne in Listen, die ich aber auch später wieder in Frage stellen darf. ;) wobei die Plätze 1 und 2 schon seit vielen Jahren meine All-Time-Faves von Costello sind.
