Tommy the Movie Restored DVD
The Tommy Movie will be released next month in the UK by Prism Leisure. The movie has had both the sound and vision remastered (including the restoration of the original quintophonic sound) and will be released in the UK on June 14.
A bonus disc, containing interviews with Pete, Roger and director Ken Russell amongst others will also be included.
As a prelude to the release Prism held a press showing, at which Ken Russell attended to answer questions about the movie. Ken had some very fond memories of the filming and even brought along his daughter, who played Sally Simpson in the movie.
