„I have recorded a couple of tunes and very good they are too. I do believe one of them is among the best I’ve ever written. People I’ve played it to also think it’s one of my best songs. It’s called ‚Stop The Clocks‘ and it really doesn’t sound like anything I’ve ever written. At the moment it’s only an acoustic demo, just me singing it with a guitar so there’s a long way to go, but the song itself is fantastic.“
Über das Touren sagt Noel:
„Usually I can’t wait to finish tours because I want to go home and I want to go on holiday. I’m sure in six months time I’ll feel differently and I’ll want to go back out on the road again. But as I stand today then I can take it or leave it.“

„I would have thought until someone dies. But, like I say, I don’t particularly want to be putting out albums every year and going out on the road. I don’t need the money. I don’t need the adulation or the fame. But we’ll be going for a long time I would have thought.“
