„This is the fourth release from Stars in Coma and also the fourth release from Molokini.
„Velvet Mountains“ was written and recorded in the period of a week and this EP shows
new sides of Stars in Coma/André Brorsson. In the world of SiC, this is actually
the first time every song was written for a specific project. The first thought André
had was to do a homemade, computer-age, DIY country-sounding record.
Well, some songs echo bands like Essex Green’s most country-inspired songs,
but you can also see the final result as a bunch of new Stars in Coma songs
with those catchy melodies you all love to here over and over again.
Recorded in Moonport Studio, Lund between the 27th March and the 3th April.“
