Is the satellite radio show starring Bob Dylan up in the air?
Late last year, XM Satellite Radio announced with much fanfare that the enigmatic bard of rock would launch a weekly show in March for which he would hand-pick the music, interview peers and share his insights.
But the calendar shows that March has ended — and there’s no Dylan on the XM dial.
„It’s definitely going to happen, but it’s taking a little longer than originally planned,“ XM spokeswoman Anne-Taylor Griffith said. „Bob is super-involved in the show, and, like with everything he does, he wants it to be just a certain way, and it’s taking some time.
„We’ve already received several episodes of the show, and they’re absolutely fantastic.“
With the 64-year-old Dylan moving at his chosen speed, the show is expected to premiere in early May.
This month, XM will announce the show’s title and schedule; and release sample playlists, which Griffith described as „amazing“ surveys of music both new and vintage.
klingt vielversprechend !!
