Paul Weller and AC/DC are hoping to top the album charts this weekend in a battle of the mods and rockers.
Modfather Paul is just ahead of hard rock idols AC/DC, but the gap is narrowing.
Sales figures on Friday show Weller’s new release Wake Up The Nation is only 3,000 copies ahead of the Aussie-British rockers new album, the soundtrack to the Iron Man 2 movie.
A surge in sales has seen AC/DC close what had been a much bigger lead earlier in the week.
