Von vorne … CD 1 enthält die Symphonien Nr. 1 c-Moll und Nr. 3 a-Moll (die „Schottische“) – transparent, sehr klangschön und doch höchst dramatisch. Ich bin versucht zu sagen: alles, was die Freiburger Barocker unter Heras-Casado nicht waren (sie waren möglicherweise dramatisch, aber das spielte auch keine so grosse Rolle mehr … eine CD ist allerdings angekündigt, inklusive des Violinkonzerts mit Faust, das ich ja halbwegs missglückt fand im Konzert).
